Our Ethos At Audio Scriptr
What we're all about

Maybe we’re too idealistic. Maybe we’re too focused on ourselves. Or maybe we’re steering the ship in the right direction…

Audio Scriptr was built with two major goals in mind.

  1. Be excellent in the workplace
  2. Maintain a sense of adventure and enjoyment of life

We want to get ahead in our careers and we want to see others get ahead in theirs. But we don’t want progress to cost weekend getaways, watching our children’s soccer matches or taking our partners out on hot dates.

Life is meant to be lived! And we don’t want to fill our hearts and minds with memories of an office cubicle and weary nights eyeing over scripts, documents and emails.

Audio Scriptr is as much a productivity tool in the professional market as it is a lifestyle app for professionals that value their time.

We see Audio Scriptr as an opportunity to bring more balance to work and life without compromising either one.

These are the values that make up our ethos and get us out of bed in the morning:

Two birds with one stone

With Audio Scriptr, it’s possible to read that document or manual whilst doing a gym workout or on your commute. This means you can sustain your exercise regime. This means an extra hour at night with the kids, rather than an extra hour at the office or late at night when you’d rather be sleeping. Audio Scriptr buys time back by killing two birds with one stone. The days are gone when we can’t make use of dead time like commuting or active time like working out, biking, hiking etc.

Efficiency

The average worker loses 90 minutes every day due to inefficient information absorption. This is a disaster. The vast majority of employees worldwide find it difficult to engage at work. Audio is solving that problem as it continually proves to be more engaging, which means more time spent productively at work and away from it.

Leveling the playing field

The stats. Around 20% of people have dyslexia or some form of language-based learning disability. Approximately 56% of the western workforce has a reading level of 9th grade or less.  Some 15% of adults across developed nations have a reading level of 6th grade or less!

There are people overworking themselves just to keep up. But it’s our goal at Audio Scriptr to level the playing field and give everyone the opportunity to contribute and flourish.

Protecting the environment

Less paper products and more audio means more trees stay in the ground where they belong. This is actually such a big deal to us that we don’t just pay lip service to the environmental benefits of electronic documents. We are actively planting trees. For each tree saved, we plant a tree. Save one, give one.

Living Your Dreams

At Audio Scriptr we want to live our dreams and we want others to live theirs. We want to live in an inspiring world. We want to see an active world, a creative world, an engaged world. We don’t want to see droopy eyes and family breakdowns.

If Audio Scriptr can give you back a few hours every day, that means more hours doing the things you love.

A happy world is a world we want to help create. Giving people their time back is the least we can do!

So, perhaps we’re idealistic, optimistic, utopic or romantic. Perhaps. But Audio Scriptr is already  changing professionals’ lives. Audio Scriptr is shifting the balance between work and life. And we’re going to keep steering the ship in that direction!

This is our ethos at Audio Scriptr.
